On December 10, 2024, the kick-off meeting for the second funding phase of the Priority Programme SPP2311 “Robust Coupling of Continuum-biomechanical In Silico Models to Establish Active Biological System Models for Later Use in Clinical Applications — Co- Design of Modelling, Numerics and Usability” was successfully held in a digital format. Participants from all associated projects came together to introduce their research initiatives and discuss key topics relevant to the programme.
During the meeting, each project was presented, providing an overview of objectives, methods, and expected contributions to the overarching goals of SPP2311. The event also included discussions on general organizational matters and fostered an informative exchange of ideas among participants.
The meeting highlighted the collaborative approach and interdisciplinary nature of the Priority Programme. We look forward to the outcomes of this second phase and to continued constructive cooperation among all projects.
This marks an important step in advancing the research goals of SPP2311, and we are eager to see the contributions and results from all participating teams in the coming years.
