SPP2311 – Workshop on Project Management in Scientific Research
On April 17, an online workshop on Project Management in Scientific Research brought together PhD students and Principal Investigators (PIs) to explore practical approaches to managing research projects effectively.
Led by career coach Dr. Michaela Hergersberg, the session focused on strategies, tools, and best practices for planning, executing, and communicating scientific work. Participants gained insights into structuring workflows, improving collaboration, and navigating the challenges of both small-scale studies and larger research projects.
The workshop addressed the needs of researchers at different career stages, from those managing their first study to experienced scientists coordinating complex collaborations.
Overall, the session provided valuable guidance for enhancing project efficiency and strengthening communication within research teams.
