Validation Workshop in Ulm, November 26-28

The SPP2311 invites all its PhD-students and PostDocs to this year’s Validation Workshop in Ulm.

This course will provide essential insights into experimental techniques and biomechanical fundamentals necessary to rigorously validate computational models.

It allows to gain knowledge in planning and conducting biomechanical experiments by a balanced mixture of 6 lectures and 8 laboratories. The number of participants is limited to 20 to guarantee a maximum efficiency for the single participant.

The aim of this course is to train and sensibilize PhD students and PostDocs who work in the field of computer simulations within the SPP2311 on experimental validation of their computational models.

We’re looking forward to seeing many of you there – it’ll be a great opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and get inspired within the SPP2311-community!

Date: November 26-28th, 2025

Registration deadline: October 5th, 2025

Location: Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics, Helmholtzstraße 14, Ulm

Registration: Via the form below (Members only)
